At the start of September Betsy I attended the East Malling beer festival. This was the first festival since covid. It was a great day, also suitable for families too.
Below are the beers which I tasted –
ANGELS & DEMONS, Capel Le Ferne, Nr Folkstone Bombay Social 3.8 Hazy golden, session IPA, light in character with huge hop loveliness.
ANGELS & DEMONS, Capel Le Ferne, Nr Folkstone Racing Tiger 4.2 Lager Pale gold, easy drinking dry hopped full flavour lager using aromatic hops
normally only available in keg, presented in cask.
MAD CAT, Faversham Ninth Life 5.9
High gravity golden India Pale Ale. 1st Gold, Cascade & Columbus Hops
dominate. Full Bodied pale malts balance the hoppiness. Mild liquorice &
citrussy.

The highlight of the day was the live band that they had playing at the festival, Bungie and the Smugglers. They certainly got the us up and dancing.
