As many residents will know, TMBC consulted residents on parking charges in both Aylesford car parks. This wasn’t liked as expected; with the original season ticket being £290 and only 30 minutes of free parling, local Borough Councillors managed to knock it down to £200.
Last night, April 22, I was delighted to join the owner of Beauty Bank, which sits in Aylesford High Street, Nicola. She spoke against the charges. Unfortunately, I couldn’t speak last night as the chair of the committee, who is a Liberal Democrat, wouldn’t allow it.

I am delighted that TMBC have listened to residents and have agreed to have the season ticket price at £200 and have offered 1 hour’s free parking.
