Yesterday, I took part in commemorative bike ride to honour a lovely lady called Aimiee Williams for Kent Air Amblance. We cycled from Redhill to Rochester in memory of Aimiee. There was over 30 village folk from Aylesford who also took part in the memorial bike ride.
I rode along the 40 mile bike ride with Cllr Colin Williams, Aimiee’s farther, Borough Councillor for Aylesford South and Ditton and Dame Tracey Crouch DBE CBE MP.
This was my first ever long distance bike ride, I must say I surprised myself and was one the first ten to complete the charity cycle.
I’m proud to announce that we all raised over £21k, five thousand of that will be used to buy a new helicopter.
