Recently I got back on the paddle board, we’ve been having such nice weather recently, it had to be done. Myself and two friends ventured to Yalding, to paddle board that part of the river Medway. At first I thought we weren’t going to get on the water, because for some reason most of Yalding was shut off with road diversions. After driving around for an hour we found how to get to our launching point. Only to realized that we were near it after all.
We were all in shorts, it was still sunny when we launched. It was a surreal moment, it was quiet, just us three paddling through the water. Towards the end as we were paddling back to our launch point, it started to get foggy, you couldn’t see a couple of yards in front of you.
Regular readers of this blog will be pleased to read that I didn’t loose my phone on this trip!
